My Care Philosophy

Updated: Oct 14, 2025

My care philosophy is that I treat every patient like I would want my family to be treated. And I like my family, so I have high standards.

I focus on the details.

Two people hold hands across a table, while a rainbow made of light crosses their hands

I listen to what is important to my patients, to what matters most in their lives.

And then I help them get back to doing the activities they love, as quickly and painlessly as possible.

I’m proud to be part of a small – but growing! – percentage of female orthopedic surgeons, and to represent the LGBTQIA community. I think it’s vital that our medical professionals reflect the diversity of the population, and I look forward to seeing more women, people of color, and LGBTQIA individuals entering the field.

I believe every patient should receive the best quality of care, treatment, and results possible no matter their race, ethnicity, gender, age, or any other factor. Every patient should feel welcomed, listened to, and respected. It's your life and your health; I'm here to help you live it in the way that you want to.
