About Dr. Jennifer Wood
Movement is life — and my goal is to help you get back to living yours.
I’m Dr. Jennifer Wood, a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in advanced hip and knee care. My practice focuses on hip and knee replacement using modern, precision-based techniques—including robotic-assisted surgery, anterior hip replacement, and muscle-sparing approaches for the knee.
Every treatment plan is tailored to the individual. There is no one-size-fits-all approach.
Background & Experience
Before specializing in joint replacement, I spent over a decade in orthopedic trauma, treating complex fractures and injuries.
That experience continues to shape how I think and operate today. It reinforced that details matter, precision matters, and most importantly—patients do better when care is deliberate, thoughtful, and never rushed.

Focused Hip & Knee Care
Today, my practice is focused on helping patients with hip and knee arthritis move better with less pain.
I use advanced tools, including robotic-assisted technology, to improve precision—but technology is only one part of the equation. The decision-making behind it is what truly drives outcomes.
Every surgical plan is individualized, with the goal of restoring function while minimizing unnecessary disruption to surrounding tissues.
A Personal Perspective
My connection to this work is personal.
As a former athlete who played basketball, rugby, and softball, I’ve always valued movement—not just for performance, but for the freedom and confidence it brings.
Now, as a mother in my 40s, I understand how important it is to stay active, strong, and independent through every stage of life.
That perspective shapes how I care for my patients.
What This Means for You
No two patients have the same goals.
For some, it’s returning to sports or an active lifestyle. For others, it’s walking without pain or staying independent in daily life.
My role is to restore reliable movement—so you can live the life you want, on your terms.
My goal is simple: help you move better, feel better, and get back to doing what you enjoy.
